The Terracrop System

aims to eliminate abuses of resource consumption.

In future, all waste will be used as raw materials and resources and treated as valuable raw materials.

For the first steps, it is important for industrialized countries, for example, to intensify and promote the research and development of processes and technologies for fossil-free energy generation, waste separation, waste processing, reuse, upcycling and the replacement of mineral oil products with organic substances.

The following first steps are helpful for developing and emerging countries:

Ø  to degas old landfills in order to improve the safety of citizens by reducing the amount of methane gas in the air and to eliminate the smell of methane.

Ø  To build landfill methane gas power plants to generate electricity, also for the special benefit of residents in the vicinity of landfills. Feed electricity and / or biogas into public networks as long as the landfill is emitting sufficient gas.

Ø  a simple waste collection system with waste separation into "wet" and "dry". to introduce. "Wet" is the total amount of biomass and amounts to about 60% of the total waste. "Dry" is the rest, such as paper, plastics, metals, etc.

Ø  Citizens take tires, cars, household appliances such as washing machines, dryers, televisions, refrigerators, freezers, etc., electronic devices, copper cables, and glass to special collection points - or collect them separately for recycling.

Ø  to automatically purify the total biomass again for processing into biomass methane gas. The power supply can be used to operate all parts of the system. The surplus is fed into the public grid.

Ø  to use the fermentation residues from methane gas production for the production of fertilizer and other electrical energy.

Ø  to use contaminated digestate from the biogas plant to operate a CHP (combined heat and power plant) to generate electrical energy. The process heat can be used to dry the digestate. The contaminated ash is disposed of in a landfill for hazardous waste.

Ø  to use the sludge from sewage treatment plants as contaminated digestate.

Ø  To build and operate a sorting plant for dry waste in order to separate paper, plastics, metals, etc. and to reuse them as recyclable materials.

The system offers

ü  New approaches and solutions to rising prices and shortages of food and arable land

ü  Decentralized energy generation through the use of sun, biogas and wind

ü  Replacement of chemical fertilizers to avoid over-salting of arable land

ü  Reclamation of barren arable land for growing grain, vegetables and fruit

ü  Use of waste as a resource for energy production and important raw materials.

ü  The Terracrop system reduces waste management costs through savings and reuse.

City cleaning, landfill costs and the proceeds from by-products such as pellets, electricity and gas supply, fertilizer, raw materials and material recycling also generate income and savings.
